2008 Collector Pumpkin Festival
Collector is a small NSW town just  between Goulburn and Canberra. Pumpkins are just a 'hook' for this festival, they're not grown in the region.  All the proceeds are going, this year, to repairing the local footy field which has big holes in it and a swamp at one end. Last time it was for a new community bus.

The Festival starts with a 'real' Country Ball held in the Community Hall. There are meat tray raffles and autographed footy jumpers. At the following Sunday's festival there are lots of pumpkin themed competitions, giant pumpkins and generous prizes for the best pumpkin scones and pies.

Active Seniors
These come from a long project that looks at activities for seniors, some aged 80 plus who through community singing, ballroom dancing, bingo and card nights impressed me with their
                          energy and joy for life. 

Werribee
Again just part of a longer project examining the multi-national community on Melbourne's south-western fringe that grows much of the city's fresh vegetables.
